, I am writing to you as the Labour Party candidate for Cedar Hall Ward. It would be a great honour for me to serve the residents of this ward as a local councillor. People who know me would vouch that I possess great integrity, passion and an immense sense of fairness for what is right and reasonable. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with people of all walks of life. I’ve seen the struggles communities like ours faces. My experience in Local Government means I’ll be able to start working for you from day one. For me, giving up is not an option. I will campaign for any cause, that improves the lives of the people of Castle Point, no matter how big or small that may be. As a proud trade unionist, we cannot forget the hard-fought rights we enjoy today. We need to build on those successes to make sure future generations have the ability to achieve even more. We need to build more houses, we need to defend our NHS and we need to make sure every child has the opportunity to flourish. I have experience of fighting for people and making sure they get the best deal. I will use this experience to make sure the people of Castle Point get the best deal possible. I have been involved in various campaigns and marches against government. These campaigns have challenged some decisions which have harmed the people of Castle Point. I’ve campaigned against the cuts to our schools and our police, which have left our streets less safe and our children without the education they deserve. As your local councillor, I will always listen to your concerns; I will always make sure your voice is heard.
